FlightBrief: Release Notes
Every version of FlightBrief and what changed. The version number is the one shown under Setup > Installed Packages.
Version 1.0.0
October 30, 2026. The first release.
- A brief of your org for AI assistants. FlightBrief studies the org's schema, Apex, triggers, Flows, Lightning web components, custom metadata, permission sets and installed packages, and writes a Markdown brief of how the org is built and where new work goes. It reads metadata only, never record data, and keeps to what the user generating it can see.
- The org's own way of building. The brief names the classes the org saves and queries records through, the class its tests make data with, the subflow its Flows call, how it names record-triggered Flows and its per-object permission sets, each with counts, and only when most of the org follows it. Where the code is mixed, it says so and tells the AI assistant to ask rather than guess.
- Surface and Deep. A surface brief works right away and takes a minute or two. A deep brief, after a one-time setup by an administrator, adds validation rules, the fields each class and Flow uses, and what each Flow does.
- Company standards and questions for your team. An administrator enters the company's own standards, which every brief puts first, and answers the questions the scan cannot settle. Later briefs carry the answers.
- Publish for the team, on a schedule if you like. An administrator publishes a brief for everyone with the FlightBrief Reader permission set, or has one generated and published daily or weekly.
- Ready for your AI tool. Download a brief as
AGENTS.md,CLAUDE.md, a Cursor rule or an Agentforce Vibes rule. A full reference is saved alongside when the brief shortens long lists, and the page says how much of the org changed since the brief.
FlightBrief is not yet on the Salesforce AppExchange. It will be listed once it has passed Salesforce's security review.
